Texas Firecrackers Review
3 words to describe Texas Firecrackers: Hot, delicious and addictive. Inside this Texas-themed packaging, you'll find these crackers are packing some heat! My initial thought - this is a party cracker. Give me some cheesy dip, and I could eat the whole package. BUT then, I read the history behind these crackers, and I was even more intrigued:
"The Legend of the Texas Firecrackers® crackers begins with the Cherokee Indian who had a hot cornbread called tus-ya-ga which they introduced to Sam Houston during the time he lived among them. It is said that Gen. Sam fed his army of 910 pioneers these hot crackers before routing the over 2000 troops of Santa Anna in 18 minutes at San Jacinto and winning Texas independence.....
The hot crackers were a favorite among the mostly Texas crew of the Battle Ship Texas during WWII where they earned their current pronunciation 'FARR-Cracker.'"
Farr-Cracker - that is exactly how we need to be pronouncing these crackers in Texas. So, don't let me catch you saying it any different!
OK onto ratings...

Appearance:
The Texas themed label & clear plastic tub may not catch my eye at the grocery store. However, the great background stories about the crackers added the 3rd star. So interesting!
Taste:
I love that I don't have to make a spicy dip to eat these. They have great crunch and flavor.
Value:
Lots of delicious farr-crackers in that plastic tub!
Overall:
I will be definitely be buying these and introducing friends to Texas Firecrackers. Y'all should try 'em, too!
